ATS arrested 3Islamic activists at Nagpur airport

The Anti Terrorism Squad (ATS) arrested three Hyderabadies who are trying to join Islamic States at Nagpur airport. Following the arrest, the Maharashtra police handed them over to the Telangana ATS as the three suspects hail from Hyderabad.

  The arrests were made on the request of the Hyderabad police. According to a report on India Today, the men were held in a joint operation conducted by the Telangana Police and Maharashtra Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) right before they were about to board an a Indigo flight to Srinagar from the Nagpur airport after arriving from Hyderabad a day before by road. Last week, a 16-year-old college girl, who was allegedly in touch with arrested Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) executive Mohammed Sirajuddin, was put under surveillance for her suspected links with the ISIS in Pune.
