Rahul accused government indulging “vendetta Politics”

Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday again accused the government of indulging in “vendetta politics” even as party MPs disrupted business in the Lok Sabha for the second consecutive day with raucous protests.

He also rejected the charge that Congress was using Parliament to threaten judiciary saying “it is the other way round”.  He added “One hundred per cent political vendetta.Pure political vendetta is coming out of PMO. It is their way of doing politics,” Gandhi told reporters outside Parliament. He,however, said he has full faith in the judiciary. We will see at the end what comes out. Truth will come out,” said Gandhi.

The Congress vice-president was referring to the National Herald case. Congress has accused the government of slapping “proxy litigation”against its chief Sonia Gandhi and son Rahul as well as other top leaders through BJP leader Subramanian Swamy, who had filed the National Herald case.
