Amaravati capital construction and Polavaram Project are in trouble !!!

Amaravati capital construction and Polavaram project are very prestigious projects to the AP Government.Apart from collecting land from the farmers, the state government wrote a letter to the central forest and environmental department to sanction 13,000 acres of  forest land for the capital.

The department asked the AP government about the new forest plans for the land to be sanctioned. The AP government should also give the details of the usage of 33,000 acres. But Andhra Pradesh government has not sent any details to the central government regarding the plans of the Amaravati (according to sources). This led to the delay of the capital land allotment.

Another problem is related to Polavaram project. The workers boycotted the project for non-payment of their wages. The project is provided with the environmental permissions and clearances which were expired in July. AP government should apply again to renew the permissions and licenses. The MP's of Odisha and Chattisgarh are not supporting this project. AP government spent nearly 5 thousand crores on this project. It appealed the central government to release the funds they spent, but received no reply in return from them.
