Cricketer turned as tormentor

National cricketer Shahadat Hossain is famous Bangladesh pacer. His exceptional performance and hardwork brought victories for his team. Though successful in cricket he failed as a human. The player and his wife cruelly tortured a 11 year old girl, who was working as their domestic help.

 Now the duo facing charges in home and after spending sometime in jail presently they are out on bail. The victim who injured severely by the Hossains was a minor girl Mahfuza Akhtar. Born in poor family and no parents Mahfuza alias happy was taken to Hossains house as a domestic help by her maternal grandmother. Then onwards the cricketer and his wife tortured and wildly beat the little girl. Happy escaped when the duo were not in house and was found by a journalist, with burnings on her face. By knowing Hossains cruelty some lodged complaints against them and the husband and wife jailed for sometime.

 Lately the court granted bail to the cricketer until march 31. On December 1, the same court granted bail to his wife until January 17.On other hand the Bangladesh Cricket Board barred him from all formats of the cricket until the charges were settled.Happy who suffered a lot at the Hossains, is now under the care of a welfare organization, recovering from her wounds. She said that she would go to school and also finish her higher studies. After completion of education, Happy wants to become a movie star.
